Megalis illustrates new kids menu boxes for Choolaah
Some fun stuff!
Some my funky line drawings and weird characters are featured on the new kids box for the Choolah Indian BBQ restaurant.
It was great to work with Jay Nesbitt from Wholesome International who said the space at Choolaah was inspired by art museums. He gave me lots of room to play and hopefully I will be doing more art for Choolaah in the near future.

Artist Tom Megalis selected for MOCA Cleveland's NESNADNY + SCHWARTZ VISITING CURATOR PROGRAM
I am excited to announce that I was selected for MOCA Cleveland's The Nesnadny + Schwartz Visiting Curator Program.
Adam Lerner, the the Director and Chief Animator of the Museum of Contemporary Art Denver (MCA Denver), came by my studio for a visit. Very exciting.
Lerner is the curator of MCA Denver’s wildly successful touring retrospective of Mark Mothersbaugh’s work, Myopia, which will come to MOCA Cleveland in the summer of 2016 in a joint presentation with the Akron Art Museum.

During heavy times of art production, I rarely take the time to clean. Things just keep piling up and sometimes that pile or junk makes it into a piece. "Waste" is bad word in my studio.
